In Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus gives us the “Great Commission” as he says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”   Freedom Church has made this commission the foundation of its mission and vision. We actively seek and create opportunities to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through supporting missionaries, giving, ministry, and prayer.

He can speak Mandarin, Spanish, Greek, and Hebrew, has traveled in over 50 countries around the world and has taken part in delivering over 750,000 Bibles. Giving

Time and money are two precious commodities that always seem to be in demand.  Setting aside a portion of these blessings to give to others in need sets the church on a path towards fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.  Freedom Church is actively involved in fundraising for missions, often in collaboration with other churches, organizations, and community groups.  By joining forces, we deliver a powerful message that salvation and hope in Jesus reaches far beyond the church walls.  If you have a heart for missions, please inquire about how you can donate resources to help Freedom Church expand its giving campaigns.

Ministry

Missions with a Purpose is a ministry that seeks to bring a new, fresh awareness of missions to the church. At Freedom Church, there are a number of ways to get participate in missions, whether it’s within the church, local community, or abroad.  Missions work requires many different talents and abilities, so you will find Freedom Church to be a community motivated to utilize every possible resource to further the kingdom of God.  We are inspired by Romans 12:6, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teachers, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.”  We welcome you to lend your talents to missions work at Freedom Church, and help us share the light of Jesus Christ with the world!

Prayer

Today’s mission field is more challenging than ever before as humanity struggles with everything from poverty and social injustice to world violence and economic chaos.  At Freedom Church, we believe that prayer is the most powerful tool we have to win the world over for Jesus Christ, and we uplift our church, community, nation, and world to God.  We invite you to join us as we follow Ephesians 6:18, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
