We have been given the gift of salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” If you want to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, follow these simple steps and say a prayer like the one below.  We invite you to join us at Freedom Church as you begin your spiritual journey as a new believer in Jesus Christ.

Acknowledge your sin:  Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

Repent:  Luke 13:3 “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

Confess: 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Forsake:  Isaiah 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

Believe: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Receive: John 1:11-12 “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

Prayer for Salvation

Lord Jesus,

I come before you today knowing that I am a sinner in need of a savior.  I believe that you died on the cross for me, and that you shed your blood for the forgiveness of my sins.  I believe that on the third day, you rose from the dead, and defeated sin and death.  I believe you are now seated at the right hand of God, and that you have prepared a place for me.  I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God, and my friend.  I ask that you come into my heart, Jesus, and set me free from my sin.  I believe that, because you are my savior, I will have everlasting life with you.  Thank you, Jesus!

Amen
